The Design
The cherry blossom theme is reflected in a pastel pink colour palette with subtle hints of pale green and cream. By keeping the overall design simple and elegant, the delicate floral accessories really accentuate the theme without being imposing or overpowering.
I imagine this wedding to have a country setting, with perfectly manicured lawns and blossom-laden trees providing a beautiful background. Guests could be treated to a classic spring dish of roast lamb with rosemary, and take home vanilla macaroons as favours. To create delicate and ‘blossomy’ floral decorations, I’d opt for pale pink and cream roses combined with gypsophila and lily of the valley, and would continue the blossom theme with subtle floral accents for the bridal accessories, cake and invitations.
