The Details
A beautiful Georgian manor house set in the middle of Surrey parkland was the setting for this sophisticated and stylish wedding. As the bride finished her preparations upstairs in the dressing room, the groom met with family and friends who had travelled from all over the world to share the celebrations.
After the civil ceremony, guests were treated to a relaxed canape reception in the summer sunshine whilst being entertained by a contemporary string trio and wowed by the quick tricks of a talented magician. Younger guests burnt off their energy with a selection of garden games, before joining a dedicated creche for an afternoon of fun activities.
A simple green and white colour scheme was the order of the day for the ceremony, whilst hints of purple were introduced to the reception decor for an added dimension. The bride’s love of flowers was reflected in the arrangements decorating the venue, from understated chair ties to impressive focal urns, and stock-filled centrepieces that filled the air with a delicate summer scent.
Following a delicious dinner and moving speeches it was time for the dancing, with the DJ mixing in a selection of Iranian and Nigerian tunes for the bride and groom alongside some classic dance tunes that kept the guests on the floor for the rest of the evening.
Client Comments
“Thank you Helen for planning our wedding and making it such a memorable occasion. The day was beautiful and very relaxed, we had a fantastic time! Your co-ordination, subtlety and attention to detail made everything run smoothly. We have received so many lovely comments about the wedding, everybody had a wonderful time.
Thank you for suggesting such good vendors, they were great to work with and delivered on the day. This is a testament to your organisational skills, professionalism and patience, especially given that correspondence was mostly via email since we do not live in the UK. We had big expectations of our wedding day and you delivered fully on them. It was a pleasure working with you and we will certainly recommend you to our friends”.
