Just over a week ago I headed into London for the UKAWP networking event, where 50 wedding planners (there are more of us than you think!) got together to catch up with old friends, meet new faces, share stories, swap advice and generally have a good old chat about weddings!
The venue for this event was the stunning 30 Pavilion Road , a truly beautiful character hotel tucked away in the heart of Knightsbridge. If you’re looking for a central London wedding venue with heaps of character and history, as well as a very personal feel, then this could very well be the place for you.
30 Pavilion Road offers exclusive use for your wedding day, and as you step off the street you enter a beautiful marble hall that is licensed for civil ceremonies for up to 120 guests. Once the legalities are over, you can make your way up the striking staircase for photographs in the panelled library, which also has an open log fire that would be a real focal point for a winter wedding.
Next to the library is the ballroom, a beautiful open space full of charm where you and your guests can dine in luxury and later on dance the night away. There are also 10 luxury bedrooms available for just you and your family/friends. I really did fall in love with the charm and warmth of 30 Pavilion Road, and would definitely recommend a visit if you thinking about getting married in central London .
