Saturday (May 16th) is the day of Britain’s biggest wedding party, “ The Big I Do Redo ”, which aims to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK and Macmillan Cancer Support. The idea was conceived by wedding photographer Julia Boggio , who gained fame as the (if you haven’t already seen their routine it’s definitely worth watching!) and danced with Patrick Swayze on the Oprah Winfrey show.
After hearing Patrick had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, Julia decided to organise a nationwide charity event that celebrated love – hence The Big I Do Redo. The idea is to hold a ‘wedding’ theme party, have lots of fun and raise as much money as possible. It’s also the perfect excuse to wear your wedding dress all over again!
