I was recently introduced to the luxury online wedding directory, The Ebury Collection . Now I do admit that I’m not normally a big fan of wedding directories – quite often I find them packed with too much information, difficult to navigate and frustrating to use. However, The Ebury Collection is completely different. The unfussy and elegant layout is easy on the eye, and the supplier and venue listing format makes it easy to find exactly what you are looking for.

The Ebury Collection was launched earlier this year by Hannah Gooch after her personal experience of planning her own wedding, and is aimed at discerning brides who are looking for something special and unique in their suppliers. As Hannah explains:

“The Ebury Collection is designed to inspire, inform and excite. It will introduce visitors to a collection of carefully selected companies that can help them make every aspect of their wedding beautiful and completely individual.”

Unlike many directories, each supplier listed at The Ebury Collection is hand-picked, the result being a complete collection of some of the UK’s leading wedding specialists. In addition to the layout of the site, what I particularly like is that each listing has its own page that includes a detailed company description, photos and previous client testimonials – it’s so much nicer than wading through a great long list of 2 line descriptions and having to click through to dozens of websites!

The Ebury Collection are continually updating their directory with new contacts. If you’re planning your own wedding and are looking for high quality suppliers, then it’s definitely worth paying a visit.
