The other week I came across this fantastic, self-designed relationship timeline over on 100 Layer Cake . I’ve never seen anything like it before, but I think it’s an excellent way of providing your guests with some extra information about you as a couple, particularly colleagues or more distant friends that might not know you both so well.
I love the fact that it’s quite unusual and quirky, but also that it tells your personal love story. It would work really well if included as an insert with the wedding invitation, but I could also see it being left at each individual place setting for guests to read before dinner. You don’t necessarily have to follow this format, and you could include all sorts of interesting and/important times in your lives. Here’s my personal timeline – what stories would you include in yours?
